Nearly 1500 places of worship in Pittsburgh... what role does this play in our city's culture? Over a 13 month period, I attended 100 different places of worship in Pittsburgh. My goals: explore the relationship of the ritual of attending service, to that of art-making and share art with strangers. Share tolerance. The dress I wore grew with the accumulation of experiences. My grandfather, a farmer, used to say that on Christmas Eve the animals could talk. As a child, I was more excited about this possibility than about Santa Claus. Merry Christmas Day!
